Gained experience in mobile surgical hospital in a combat area in Southern Angola and Namibia.
January 1980 - December 1980: Internship at the Conradi Hospital, Pinelands, Capetown, South Africa. Experience in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Room Medicine, Anesthesiology, Community Medicine, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery and Infectious Diseases.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

i.Undergraduate: Teaching of Clinical Clerks at the Alberta Children's Hospital and participation in undergraduate teaching at the University of
Calgary Medical School (Course on Infant and Normal Child Behaviour). Participate in mentoring program for medical students of the University of Calgary.
ii. Graduate: Supervises and teaches family practise residents and pediatric residents at both the Alberta Children's Hospital and the Rockyview General Hospital. Teach residents in Ambulatory clinic. Participate, twice yearly, with examinations of pediatric residents at the Alberta Children's Hospital.

iii. Postgraduate: Teach at the University of Calgary Family Practise CME events.
